Our client specialises in the design, development and servicing of specialist mining equipment for customers here in Australia and overseas.
Due to a recent project (overhaul of Boring Machine) being awarded, they now require the service of a suitable Project Manager/Scheduler to assist with this project.
This role will report directly to the Company Program Manager with no direct supervision of staff.
You will be responsible for:
- Project management of project using MS Project
- Scheduling of all resources (man-hours and equipment)
- Preparing of budgets and monitoring of costs against budget
- Liaising with Site foreman for project updates
- Liaising and taking direction with Program Manager as required.
You will have:
- Must have strong mechanical background (ideally Trade, or Diploma or Degree qualification)
- Ideally have Project management qualifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
This role is located in the Hunter region and you will need your own transport to access the project site office
