Our client is an established company with a 50 year history of innovation and growth in the water & waste water area. They are an international business securing orders from all from all over the world. They design, manufacture, install and service a range of water & waste water treatment plants & related equipment. Previous experience in a graduate role as an application-contracts engineer in the water & wastewater/ special purpose industrial machinery/ industry is required.
They need a Sales/Contracts Engineer to assist with the planned growth of their business.
You are a sales professional with:
- Tertiary and/or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong technical exposure with ability to work alone, managing contractual documentation, technical specifications, detailed costings.
- Contracts, tendering, specifications, documentation, some banking & exim procedures
- Around 3 years experience in sales/ application engineering
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in developing of new business, doing presentations, & securing company targets
- Preparing client proposals, and contract documents
- Recommending variations in product, formulation or package design and participate in regular production and sales meetings to communicate field intelligence
Your decisiveness and coupled with commercial acumen and ability to work with technical specifications is being sought. Both external and internal interaction with project stake holders is involved. Role would be based around the Liverpool region with car parking on site provided.
