Our client provides security solutions and systems for the public at large; protecting buildings and transport systems; screening everything from a ticket to a truck.
Our client is now seeking a Contract Service Technician to join their existing team. Full Product training will be provided to the successful candidates.
You will be responsible for:
- Carry out service, maintenance and installation of Company products including X-ray security equipment.
- Inspection, repair, testing and adjustments of Company products;
- Provision of technical support to customers and sales / project staff
- Maintenance of technical skills and development of technical knowledge relevant to your profession;
- Liaison with personnel in factories and support staff as required
- Maintenance of appropriate technical licences and security passes;
- Conduct of basic internal product training with peer as required
- Provision of basic safety and operator training on completion of any installation or new works
- Completion of works documentation and entering into service system database
- Conduct of all work in a professional manner and in compliance with all customer service contracts
Candidates must be prepared to and able to:
- Work shifts;
- Obtain a NSW Security Licence
- Obtain NSW Radiation Licence
Ideally you will have:
- Strong trade background in electronics (ideally some experience with servicing of security X-ray equipment).
- Extensive experience in maintenance, fault-finding, trouble shooting, defect rectification.
- The ability to work independently and autonomously after full Company training.
