Our client build's, service's and sell's pumps, chemicals, water and waste water equipment. They are a large well established global company now expanding their service department.
They have an opportunity for a hands-on Field Service Technician to join their Sydney Service Department located in outer western Sydney. As a field service technician you would be expected to handle service calls on site. Job profile would include fault finding, suggesting solutions, bringing back parts & coordinating repairs. Previous experience in industrial repairs and servicing of equipment within the water industry would be well regarded. Knowledge of PLC's and different types of pumps-sets would be a bonus.
This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a motivated team player with good technical & communication skills. All work related expenses paid for and 70% of work is in the water /wastewater and treatment plants area. It is essential that applicants have:
- NSW Standard Electrical Trade License & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years or more recent relevant local experience
- Advanced diagnostic skills & hands on experience with different types of pumps
- Role based in Outer Western Sydney with some regional travel in NSW
